Description

Part of the Online and Creative Team, directly reporting to the CEO for weekly updates, issues, recommendations, and priorities. Work on Teams By Design assets and, when directed, client websites and profiles.

Role purpose

Own search visibility and website operations. You will ensure our websites are crawled, indexed, and presented correctly across Google, Bing, and AI driven search experiences. You will manage the technical foundations behind visibility: sitemaps, metadata, structured data, site architecture, redirects, indexing controls, and tracking. You will also tell the team what content inputs you need from blogs and video so our site stays current and trusted.

Key responsibilities

• Search visibility operations
• Manage Google Search Console and fix indexing and crawl issues
• Set up and manage Bing Webmaster Tools and monitor indexing
• Maintain XML sitemaps, robots rules, canonical tags, redirects, and noindex rules
• Improve site structure and internal linking to support crawling and rankings
• Identify and remove duplicate or thin pages from indexing pathways
• AI search readiness
• Structure pages so AI tools extract accurate answers
• Implement structured data such as Organisation, LocalBusiness, Service, FAQ, Article, Breadcrumb
• Maintain and improve Source of Truth pages and keep them current
• Monitor how our content appears in AI results and recommend improvements
• GoHighLevel build and optimisation
• Build and maintain pages in GoHighLevel including service pages, landing pages, and funnels
• Set page level SEO fields including titles, descriptions, and indexing settings
• Ensure mobile responsiveness and clean user experience
• Support conversion tracking for key forms and funnels
• WordPress support
• Maintain WordPress sites as required including updates, backups, plugins, and troubleshooting
• Implement SEO improvements inside WordPress when directed
• Google Business and Google Workspace
• Support Google Business Profile optimisation and consistency of business information
• Support Google Workspace fundamentals including domain and email setup basics such as SPF, DKIM, DMARC
• Tracking and reporting
• Maintain analytics and tracking across websites and funnels
• Send a weekly update to CEO covering:
• What changed
• What broke or is at risk
• What improved
• Your recommendations and next priorities
• What you need from the team to execute
• Content input planning
• Define what blog and video inputs are needed to support search and keep pages current
• Create content briefs focused on search intent, internal linking, and page structure
• Ensure each new blog or video page has correct metadata, schema, and internal links

Requirements

• Hands on GoHighLevel website and funnel experience
• Strong technical SEO fundamentals: sitemap, robots, canonical, redirects, noindex
• Confident using Google Search Console to diagnose and fix indexing problems
• Experience using Bing Webmaster Tools
• Understanding of metadata, on page SEO, and structured data schema
• WordPress maintenance experience
• Basic HTML and CSS troubleshooting
• Strong written English and clear reporting

• Page speed and Core Web Vitals improvement work
• Local SEO and Google Business Profile optimisation
• Automation tools such as Make, Zapier, n8n
• Experience creating SOPs for repeatable web operations

• Short technical interview
• Practical test using our live website:
• Identify what is wrong in a sitemap when it throws an XML parse error
• Explain how you would fix indexing and duplicate URL issues
• Provide recommendations for one service page including metadata and internal links
• Provide a sample weekly report update format
